Sweetdate theme comes with several page templates on how your site is displayed.
The templates include:
Default template:
This is a template you can use to render any page description content in a central position within the front-end, and in one column.
Full Width – For Builder:
The template covers the entire width of your site, with no additional elements meaning it’s also one column template.
As an example, the homepage layout for the Sweetdate theme demo here: Sweetdate demo home page uses this template.
The template is customized using the Elementor page builder. You can add various Sweetdate sections from Elementor to the page.
Full width template – No Sidebar:
This template signifies a one column layout for the Sweetdate theme which is used to render any page content in full width, within the front end.
A good example is the demo page here.
Slider Revolution Blank Template:
This template helps in rendering Slider Revolution plugin sliders within a page. By default, the page content will start from the very top of the page and with no header in place. No sidebars are rendered within this template and neither is the footer rendered as well.
Elementor Canvas:
The template renders content within a page following the default settings.
The Canvas Page Template however does also not render the Header and Footer and sections on a page. This is a convenient template for creating specific pages inside your website, pages such as: landing pages, coming soon pages, maintenance mode pages among others.
Elementor FullWidth:
This template enables you to override the default page template width and use a full width design on the page. Unlike the Elementor Canvas template, this template renders the header and footer sections within the page.
Right and Left Sidebar Templates:
These two templates define themselves appropriately whereby the right sidebar template means it has a two column layout where the sidebar is located on the right side. On the other hand the left sidebar is a two column layout but with the sidebar located on the left side. Sidebars mainly feature the widgets of the site such as a search bar, categories, archive and many more. Either of these two can be used as the default post format template. Here are some examples from the demo page. Demo Right and Demo Left.
3 Column Templates:
The three column templates signifies that your site’s layout will be divided into three. The Sweetdate theme comes with three types of three columns as listed below:
- 3 column with left and right sidebars: Has the main part centered with sidebars on both edges
- 3 column with two right sidebars: Has two sidebars on the right side with the main section occupying the left part.
- 3 column with two left sidebars: Has two sidebars on the left side with the main section occupying the right part.
BuddyPress-Members Online:
This template renders a list of of recently active, popular, and newest members.
It will also display a testimonial carousel, a support area as well as newsletter section.
An example of such a page is the members page here from the demo.
All these templates can be set while editing your page. Simply choose the page you need to change the layout under pages and click on edit, on the right side scroll till you find page attributes to change the template.
Page templates specified within a page can also be altered from Elementor. To do so, while editing your page, select the “edit with elementor” option, then Click on the settings icon on the Left side, and under Page Layout look for the template option you desire.
